Semi-automatic taping machines a manual sizing which seal the top and bottom of batches of medium and large sized American-style boxes with self-adhesive tape.

The upper taping unit is equipped with a patented system which allows, by adjusting a spring, to predetermine the weight that will bear on the box and therefore absorb any differences in the height of the boxes.
The advancement of the boxes takes place by means of lateral driving belts controlled by a single motor, thus optimizing to the maximum the uniformity of sliding of the boxes and ensuring perfect alignment of the upper and lower flaps which thus guarantee perfect sealing.

The adjustments, via cranks, are easy and quick, allowing them to be used even by non-specialised operators. The machine, if combined with incoming and outgoing conveyors, constitutes a simple, effective and economical packing station.
